Obama Could Unite Americans

Obama laid out his message of change in a recent interview demonstrating his unique ability to be a uniter of America in contrast to a more polarizing Hillary Clinton who would only stir up the controversies and partisan battles of the past.

Obama Says He Can Unite U.S. 'More Effectively' Than Clinton

"I think it is fair to say that I believe I can bring the country together more effectively than she can," Obama said. "I will add, by the way, that is not entirely a problem of her making. Some of those battles in the '90s that she went through were the result of some pretty unfair attacks on the Clintons. But that history exists, and so, yes, I believe I can bring the country together in a way she cannot do. If I didn't believe that, I wouldn't be running."
This is precisely the reason I believe Obama is a more formidable candidate in a general election. A Clinton nomination would be a gold mind for Republican operatives who would love nothing more than to tar her with everything, including the kitchen sink. It's the best hope the GOP has of uniting their party against a common, hated villain, rather than in support of any of their weak candidates.

Obama is a leader with proven judgment who Americas, if they want to turn the page and renew their belief in government, should consider electing. As Obama states, a change in parties is not enough. We need new leadership and a new way of conducting business in Washington.
